Idaho Proposition 1 on the November ballot would legalize abortion up to eight months' gestation and remove existing state protections, including parental consent and physician-only requirements. If passed, it would also allow taxpayer funding of abortions, reversing Idaho's current laws that protect preborn life and have contributed to a 99.7% reduction in the statewide abortion rate.
